P & C Meeting Agenda And Minutes

AGENDA
To keep our meetings running to time, and to give parents an idea of what we are going to be discussing, we have an agenda system that we try to stick to. The general order of a P & C meeting is below:

• Welcome and reminder to sign the attendance book and fill out a P & C Register (without filling out one of these you are unable to "vote" to approve motions. Please click to download one and bring it with you!)
• Table previous minutes (these are approved and seconded by people who attended the last meeting and have read them to ensure they are an accurate account of that meeting)
• Principal's Report (this is an update on what is going on in the school and asking P & C to approve events and excursions, etc as parent's of the school)
• Treasurer's Report (this is a monthly report of the P & C finances, showing which committee's have money coming in and/or going out)
• Sub-Committee Reports (these are reports from our sub-committees on what they are doing, and asking for approval for events or fundraising, etc)
• General Business (this is where any other items are discussed, and guests may present special topics)

Any specific items planned for discussion at the next P & C meetings (held at 7:00 pm in the OSHC building - come in the pool entrance, and it is the large building on your right at the bottom of the hill) are below:

• 17th August 2009
• 14th September 2009
• 19th October 2009
• 16th November 2009 (Final Meeting For 2009)

If you have an issue or a suggestion that you would like the P & C to consider, please contact us to have you item added to a meeting's agenda, and please attend the meeting to present your item and give more information about it.

MINUTES
The minutes of a P & C meeting are the notes taken summarising the topics of discussion and decisions made at each meeting.
