About The Healthy Choices Program

GENERAL
The Healthy Food and Drink Supply Strategy for Queensland Schools is all about offering healthy food and drink choices to students in Queensland schools.

Jamboree Heights State School and the P & C Association have taken this strategy on board and created the Healthy Choices Program. We have enacted this program in our Tuckshop, which supplies only Amber and Green foods; Fundraising and Events, which are mostly supplied with Amber and Green foods; to help improve and maintain the health of the students of our school

Any person or group wanting to hold a fundraiser or event, or to bring food or drinks onto the school campus for student consumption must fill out one or more of the following forms:

If you have any suggestions for healthy items to sell from the Tuckshop, Events or items for Fundraising, or even ideas for ways to keep the students active and interested in eating well, please contact us.
